Was out with the dawn this morning and caught not a sausage, but ye know sometimes it just dose not matter. Good friends, great scenery and the chance at a decent fish it just dose not get any better than that. One fish as usual was taken by the winkler who snuck off with the zonk gateride that you rarely see off his rod these days and nailed on right at his feet in a gutter than runs very close to shore. All in all a beautiful morning to be out and about just a stunning sunrise, makes you glad to be alive.

A much more polite way of describing me than you did in the flesh, you referred to me as hardy old bas.... the three of us had terrific fishing with you and on your advice we visited other places and caught there as well. If anyone is reading this, a day out with Pat and the intimate knowledge that he has aquired about bass fishing in Southern Ireland is money well spent. We will all be returning as soon as we can because it is some of the finest fishing I have ever experienced any where in the world, the combination of scenery and fishing is un supassed

Nigel my computers have been down so sorry for late responce. I had a real blast with you guys and boys did you show the two younger ones how it was done. Mucho respect i really hope I am still hard at like you man , one of lifes true characters and if you are back on our shores I hope you will get back in touch, enjoy your bone fishing at christmas send us a few pics and ill bang em on the blog! Then bones don't stand a chance.
